These databases contain a series of claimant rates which are powerful predictors of deprivation and hardship. Such measures often have an adverse effect on marketing response and credit worthiness. The datasets provide small area measures based upon published counts of claimants to enable you to identify areas with high or low claimant rates.
The information is held in three datasets:
- Unemployment rates by gender and age.
- Unemployment rates for all months from January 2013.
- Universal Credit claimant rates by type of entitlement. number and age of children, household composition and payment amount.
